Unit 10 has been inspired by the functional design of the 50s which is a common theme in the idiom of the Hoop-series. The smoky shade of the glass bowl fits into a modern home and can complement almost every dinnerware.

The elegant salad servers in the Hoop-series are made of carbonized ash wood. Carbonizing is an old Japanese technique where the surface of the wood is “burned” leaving the wood with a beautiful dark glow. The method ensures that the deep glow of the wood is naturally obtained without any use of staining or other chemicals. The salad set is light and nice to hold.
